I dropped the box with the push rods. Now they are mixed. I know that they are different lengths. What is the order? Attached is a picture of the front cylinder head (2,4,6).
Thanks for your time.

Are the rods on 3400 the same length as the rods on a 3100. I have a 3.4 but I’ve managed to mix the rods from another engine. I went to the junk yard with a friend and just so happened to see a motor already pulled I though I got lucky . I got home with a new head and rockers and rods. The engine wasnt a 3.4. But assuming it was I used used the best looking rods. I screwed up cause now the car barely starts but runs for a min roughly then dies.
Yes, the pushrods on the 3.4L and 3.1L are exactly the same.

I am trying to put a 2002 SFI 3.1 liter G.M engine in place of the original MPI 2.8. . I plan on using the original fuel rails and injectors. With SFI, is the differences in the injectors or is it in the computer itself ? There are a number of differences with regards to sensors and their respective locations. I’m not sure if I can just bypass those and hook in the connections that are onboard in the car that came with the 2.8. Are there any books that address that ?Any suggestions ?
