’10 Terrain steering wheel audio controls

      I have a SLE-1. This trim comes with a plastic wheel and no steering wheel mounted audio controls. I really want these controls!

       

      I can get a leather wheel w/ audio module (standard on all other trims) either from a yard outside of town or through parts direct. My question is if I get these replacement parts will it connect and control my radio!!??

       

      Has anyone done this? If it will not work then why? Thanks!

      There is more to the system than just having the buttons on the steering wheel. You need to find out from the dealer if your truck is capable of this conversion. Give them your VIN # and they should be able to tell you if the wiring for the rest of the system is there, if the radio is able to be controlled, what programming may be needed, etc.
