2004 Malibu Maxx EPS replaced

      I replaced the EPS assist. When the wheel is turned all the way left or right and I turn the car off and then back on the EPS works until I turn the wheel. For example, I can back out of a parking space but then when I straighten out the wheel the light comes in and steering is lost. Any ideas?
