2005 GMC 2500 diesel overheats while hauling uphill

      My 2005 GMC 2500 dual cab Duramax diesel truck begins to overheat while hauling my 5th wheel uphill. Doesn’t overheat at any other times. Fan clutch is good and mechanic can’t find any problem with the cooling system. Any ideas what I need to check next?

      I’m not overweight on the 5th wheel. This truck should be pulling my 30ft 5th wheel with ease.
