I am rebuilding a 4.3 litre engine. My main bearing caps were mixed up. How can I tell which one goes where. Thanks
RE: That’s an unfortunate circumstance. Other than the main cap with the thrust bearing, which only goes in one spot, the others are interchangeable. If you didn’t mark them before disassembly, you’re going to have to just use your best guess as to where they go, good luck…
