Well, you did not specify what is happening. You replaced spark plugs- which would be for a crank but not start condition. You also replaced the starter- which would be for a NO CRANK condition. So which one is it? Does it crank and not start?
If it cranks but wont start, then you need to cheek fuel pressure and spark. Possibly a bad ignition module if no spark.
If it wont crank over at times, then you need to check wiring to the starter, the starter, the neutral safety switch.
Being that old, i dont have enough room to write all the things it could be and how to determine it.
