I broke a motor mount on my 94 grand am se 6 cylinder and the engine died…..when i fixed it the engine runs like total garbage and barely starts. What’s the problem. I thought maybe the time went off. the car also taps a lot and the oil light is on

When the engine came apart from the motor mount, it would have fallen a good couple inches. That can pull a bit too much on electrical harnesses and sensors, so I would check for a wiring issue. Also, since you say it’s making a tapping noise and the oil light is on, you might want to consider what the car is worth to you. If it is excessively bad, you’re going to need an engine very soon!
