      i have a 2006 Saturn Vue 4 cyl. and i purchaced a handheld computer for it and these are the codes that came up.

      * Shift solenoid A Control circuit high (0974)

      * lost communication with ECM/PCM “A” (U0100)

      The reason i got the handheld device is because we lost all pressure one day and it would not go any faster than 35 mph. When we finally made it back home and still had it running I stepped outside and was blown away by the gas smell surrounding the entire car. Each time I start my Saturn Vue the engine runs so rough and smells of gasoline everywhere outside but there are no leaks that i can see and the coolant fan never comes on anymore. Before this happened, it would not shift out of 1st gear. It is an automatic transmission and could not do much more than we did. We Left it alone.

      2007 Saturn Vue green line. I need battery replacement help.

      Also the coolant light keeps coming on the dash. Ive checked for leaks, coolant level and if the fan is running. No problems that are visible to me. Should i just take it to a mechanic?

      Car is a 2007 Saturn Vue Hybrid-
      died 200 miles from home due to 36 volt battery system failure.
      Is it possible to drive this car on the 12 volt battery until it dies, then replace that battery with a fresh 12 volt and continue to drive until it dies and so on?
      With out damage to the vehicle?

      RE: It is possible to do that yes, but you do risk damaging other electrical components and hybrid components driving that way. Also, you may not get very far on the 12 volt battery, especially if you are driving at night. If at all possible, I would recommend either towing it back to your home dealer or having it fixed near where it broke down.

      Again, more electrical issues that will require a mechanic to look at. See your other post as well.
